Fabric Taxidermy

I’m not a fan of any dead animal hung up on the wall, but thought I’d have a bit of fun with fabric creating a faux one. This pattern provides instructions to make a deer with antlers or a goat with horns. You could use bright colours for a flamboyant character or tone down, with the darker shades. I mainly used woollens, you may need iron on backing if you use cottons. I had a colourful goat called Boris in the hall of my last house, the new owner loved him, so he stayed, I’m about to reinvent one for this hallway. You could dress your reindeer up for Christmas, red nose, Christmas lights, baubles on the antlers, just have fun, cheers Jill
